　　The Central Laboratory of our hospital was founded in September 2012. It has fixed assets valued more than 6 million yuan and has more than 60 advanced research devices. Most of the cytology and molecular biology experiments (cell culture, nucleic acid and protein detection, etc.) could be performed in the lab. In 2015, the Laboratory of Cancer Prevention and Treatment based on the Central Laboratory was documented in Tangshan Key Cultivating Laboratory by the Tangshan Health and Family Planning Commission and the Tangshan Science and Technology Board. The construction period is from November, 2015 to November, 2017.

　　This key laboratory mainly engaged in the basic and clinical research of cancer, cancer pathology and molecular pathology. Besides, the establishment of the tumor biological specimen bank (storage form: non fixed organization, RNA, DNA, protein and serum) will provides plenty of specimens for cancer basic and clinical research. It is important to ensure the accuracy of the results.
